About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Content Editor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and optimizing written content to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and engagement. You will collaborate closely with writers, designers, and marketing teams to maintain high content standards across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, edit, and proofread content for grammar, punctuation, style, and accuracy
- Ensure consistency with brand voice, tone, and style guidelines
- Collaborate with writers and content creators to improve content quality and clarity
- Optimize content for SEO and readability across web, social media, and marketing materials
- Manage content calendars, track deadlines, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality content
- Stay updated with content trends, audience preferences, and industry best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field
- 0–1 year of experience in content editing, writing, or related roles
- Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies and errors
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword optimization
- Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress or similar
- Good communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Basic knowledge of HTML and web publishing
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of social media content trends
